D K Shivakumar is a politician from Karnataka, India.He is a member from Indian National Congress, currently he is serving as Minister for Energy. Recently he is in the news for the wrong reasons as IT raid carried on the multiple properties belong to him in Bangalore.

D K Shivkumar is considered one among the powerful political leaders in Karnataka. He was also known for his good relations with the stalwarts of the Congress party like S M Krishna and Ahmed Patel. He has handled many responsible positions and port folios in the government and Congress party in his political tenure.  He has won assembly  seat from Kanakapura Constituency.
