ಮಾನವನ ಅತಿ ಆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಯಿಂದು ಪರಿಸರ ಕಲ್ಮಶವಾಗಿ ವಿಷಕಾರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಿಸರ್ಗ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ನಾವು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ. ಆದರೆ ಮಾನವ ಇಂದು ನಿಸರ್ಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ತೊರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ, ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲ ಮೇಲೆ ತಾನೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಂತಿದೆ. ಪರಿಸರ ಶೊಷಣೆ ತರವಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಮಾರಕವಾಗಲಿದೆ, ಭೂಮಿ ಬದುಕಲು ದುಸ್ತರವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳ ಹಾಗು ಸರಕಾರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರ ಬಹುಮುಖ್ಯ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರಗಳು ಈಗಾಗಲೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಗಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಸರಕಾರದ ಈ ಪರಿಸರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರ ಬಹುಮುಖ್ಯ ಹಾಗು ಆದ್ಯ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.  ಹಸಿರು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹಾಗು ಹಸಿರು ಬೆಳೆಸುವದು: ಕಾಡುಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹಾಗು ಯುವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಅದರ ಅರಿವು ಬಹುಮುಖ್ಯ. ಈ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಂದಲೆ ಹಾಗು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿವುಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸವಾಗಬೇಕು. ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಹಾಗು ಪ್ರೇಮ ಯುವಪೀಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಗೂಡಬೇಕು. ಊರು, ಕೇರಿ, ಅಂಗಳ, ಶಾಲೆ, ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸಿರು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು. ಕಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗು ವನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದರ ಮಹತ್ವ ಯುವಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಬೇಕು. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರೋ...

Rahul Gandhi's elevation as president All India Congress Party at moment where the party was going through critical election in Gujarat. Therefore, even if Congress settle for about 50 seats it is a face saver. Earlier to elections, this time it was evident that BJP was a little nervous on the developments in Gujarat. Rahul Gandhi was in much better form and seen some maturity in his addresses, good for him! It is the turn of Karnataka now, the Gujarat election's performance could influence the party cadre in positive or negative way. At least Rahul Gandhi is now making his presence felt and Congress is now portraying that it is beaming with confidence with Rahul Gandhi'd elevation as president.
